This 4-year Islamic Studies curriculum may be used in Grades 7-12. Each book covers basic Islamic knowledge including tawheed (Islamic monotheism), studies of Qur'an and Hadith and the sources and teachings of Islamic law. Questions at the end of every unit help the students use the information and assess progress.
This is a well written, well organized textbook. Book 1 covers basic Islamic knowledge beginning with tawheed (Islamic monotheism), and continuing with Qur’anic studies that include tafseer (explanation and commentary). It also has sections on the science of Hadith and the sources of Islamic law (fiqh).
Following on from what is taught in Book 1, Book 2 deepens the student’s basic Islamic knowledge of the concept of tawheed, the science of tafseer, the science of Hadith and the sources of Islamic law (fiqh). The 3rd textbook in this series, Book 3 deepens the student’s knowledge of tawheed. The science of tafseer is studied more in depth, with examples given of select chapters of the Noble Qur’an. Book 3 presents the student with detailed discussion of several important hadiths, and in the units on Islamic law, prayer and fasting are the focus of study.
This 4th year Islamic curriculum textbook deepens the student's knowledge of tawheed and tafseer, with examples given of select chapters of the Noble Qur’an.
